Drawing with SketchUp
Jim Leggitt, FAIA

Solving the high tech gap of computer modeling vs traditional methods of design visualization, see how one SketchUp user incorporates a hybrid technique of combining the defensible accuracy of 3D digital imaging with the rich character and humanity of traditional hand drawings.

As an architect, urban planner, and professional illustrator, Jim Leggitt has practiced in Denver for over 25 years. In addition to being a senior associate at RNL Design, he has conducted drawing seminars and workshops for architects and design professionals across the country. He lectures annually on architectural visualization techniques and currently teaches a drawing course to graduate level architecture students at the University of Colorado. Jim is currently finishing the second edition of his book, which will be published in late 2009.
